The purpose of study was to determine the effectiveness remediation misconceptions by using Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending (CORE) learning model reduce number student who had about heat at SMP Negeri 6 Sambas. form design pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. This used a random sampling method in intac involving 35 students class VIIIA were tested multiple-choice diagnostic test consisting 9 questions. Based data analysis, there decrease percentage experienced an average 75.75%. result McNemar’s shows that calculated 2 28.26 is greater than table 3.84, so significant conceptual change after remedial activities CORE model. remediations based DQM price 83.27% (high category). expected be as alternative experience misconceptions.
